Dear Parents, Today in class we did the following: Final syllables –tion, -ion, -ture, -ive, -ize RWN Pages 407, 412, 416 Homework: Study for unit test Unfortunately, I must once again stress the following issue: There are still a number of students who come to class without the materials that they need, be they communication books, bubble books, Readers and Writers Notebooks, or Reading Street Books. In addition, I still have not received last weeks quiz back. Please help me to remind students that it is important to make sure that they are prepared for class every day. Regards, Teacher Ari

Homework today is vocabulary words 11 - 20 x 3, defs x 1. 4 th Grade 3rd Exam Test Scope – Fall 2023 Dear Parents, The Third Monthly Exams are upon us, below is the exam schedule and test scope. Please remind your child to go over vocabulary and reading stories listed in the test scope. I am asking that quizzes from last Thursday be signed and returned tomorrow. Again, I did not receive any signed quizzes today. Dear Parents, Today in class we took the weekly quiz. Homework is to right 5 things students want for Christmas. There is no class tomorrow, however, I still request that the quizzes be signed and returned tomorrow. The past several weeks, no one has returned their quizzes or unit tests signed. It is vitally important that I get the quiz back signed as these quizzes help determine whether students will move up to I1 or remain in I2. Regards, Teacher Ari

Dear Parents, Today in class we did the following: Vocabulary words 1 – 10 Homework: Vocabulary words 1 – 10 x 10, defs x 10 The reason for the dramatic increase in the number of times students have to write the words and definitions is as follows: Many students simply refuse to participate. They won't say the words and definitions, in addition, it often takes students up to 7 minutes to be ready in the classroom. Please help me to remind students that they need to be prepared for class promptly and to pay attention. Otherwise it will be very difficult for students to move up to I1. I am still waiting for my Friday substitute to give me back the Friday unit tests. I will give them back ASAP. There will be a quiz on Thursday due to the Christmas performance taking place on Friday. Regards, Teacher Ari.
