Dear Parents, Today in class we learned vocabulary words 11 - 20 and read Talking Walls. Homework today is vocabulary words 11 - 20 x 3, defs x 1. 4 th Grade 3rd Exam Test Scope – Fall 2023 Dear Parents, The Third Monthly Exams are upon us, below is the exam schedule and test scope. Please remind your child to go over vocabulary and reading stories listed in the test scope.  Listening Exam: Wednesday, 1/3  Oral Exam: Thursday/Friday, 1/4 & 1/5  Written Exam: Tuesday, 1/9 LISTENING & ORAL EXAMS:  Vocabulary Focus: Week 15 ~ Week 18 (Communication Book)  Reading Street Stories: o The Story of the Statue of Liberty o Talking Walls: Art for the People o Listening Skills: Listen for words in a sentence; listen and identify pictures; listen & circle the correct word; vocabulary words, Vowel Sounds in moon and foot and Final Syllables from the RWN o Oral Exams: Reading, speaking, storytelling, describing pictures WRITTEN EXAM:  Vocabulary Focus: Week 15 ~ Week 18 (Communication Book)  Story Comprehension: o The Story of the Statue of Liberty o Talking Walls: Art for the People  Phonics Focus: Vowel Sounds in moon and foot and Final Syllables Be Prepared  “Preparation is the key to success” -Alexander Graham Be For the oral exam, students should read Reading Street page 433.
